PUGGING, Nov 7: The Upper Siang district administration launched its first ‘Seva Apke Dwar 2.0’ program at Pugging village, 25 Km from headquarters Yingkiong.
Deputy Commissioner Hage Lailang inaugurated the camp and appealed the public to avail the benefits and services provided by various departments. He said that this initiative is aimed at ensuring that every eligible beneficiary receives the benefits of government schemes at their doorstep, with the goal of eliminating any backlog in queues by 2023 and targets for full saturation of government welfare schemes.
Meanwhile Oyiti Siboh, first Gaon Buri from Pugging village thanked the district administration for conducting SAD 2.0 and said that all villagers have immensely benefitted from the camp. She said that though Pugging is located few kms away from Yingkiong, there is still no mobile network connectivity and it is their long pending demand to the government to install a mobile tower to mitigate the problem of people to access mobile network and internet facility.
Altogether 628 beneficiaries benefitted from services provided by various departments.
