ROING, Nov 17: The Jomin Tayeng Government Model Degree college celebrated the 7th annual college day on Thursday in its campus in Lower Dibang Valley District.
The annual sports day was officially inaugurated with a cultural night themed ‘Young youth creative Ideas', which was declared open by Dr.Odol Pertin.(Asst.Prof).
During the Valedictory function, Monti Linggi,ZPM, Korunu Block, exhorted the students to work hard and strive for a bright future staring 'this is the time to make a career ahead'.
Puinnyo Apum General Secretary, ACLS, (Adi cultural literary society), advised the students to participate and excel in every field like cultural, literary and sports activities.Further he also said that poor network coverage in the college campus is affecting the studies of students and functioning of staffers.
LDV house emerged the champion and Siang House was adjudged as Disciplined Team.
John Ngupok was awarded Best Student of the year 2023.
