Itanagar, July 6: The Rajiv Gandhi University’s most sought after admission processes; the RGUCET-2024 is underway, which is being conducted in six entrance centres of the university.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof. Saket Kushwaha, while expressing satisfaction at the progress of the RGUCET-2024 said that RGU being one of the top performing universities in the region is maintaining a class of its own by conducting such successful entrances in a time bound manner, and also for the fact that even places like Bomdila and Tezu were made centres for catering to the needs of students from far off places, despite few of them opt from these places.
Dr. NT Rikam, the Registrar who after visiting the examination venue at Rono Hills campus expressed his happiness that the examination time slots were maintained as per prescribed schedule in all the centres and proper frisking ascertained through the observers from RGU. University’s Joint Registrar Dr. David Pertin after visiting some entrance halls, briefed about the progress of the entrance on the first day of RGUCET-2024 and informed that 1568 candidates out of 1908 candidates have appeared their examinations today in four programmes namely; MA in Defense and Strategic Studies, LLB, MA in Sociology and Post Graduate Diploma in Functional Hindi, spread over three sessions in all the six RGUCET centres.
The Chairman of the RGUPET & RGUCET Central Coordination Committee Prof. SK Patnaik, informed that, the first day of the RGUCET started off well with 82.18% attendance despite inclement weather conditions prevailing in the region.
