ZIRO, Oct 21: The weeklong annual art, literary, cultural, sports and games competitions of Saint Claret College, Ziro, 'Resonance’ 23 culminated on Saturday with a closing ceremony on a grand note.
With the theme ‘Growing through synergy’, the students were grouped into four groups. A total of 32 events were organised during the weeklong fest.
The Resonance’ 23 saw a see-saw battle between groups till the last event in the competition. There was a sense of nervousness among groups as they anxiously waited for the results of the competition. Team Aqua led by Kyoda Tada emerged as the Champion this year.
Team Ignis were the Runners Up. Ms. Lumri Bini of Team Ventus was adjudged the individual champion of Resonance 2023 for her overall brilliant display.
Sagalee Extra Assistant Commissioner, Koj Tacho, who attended the closing ceremony, gave away the prizes.
In his speech, he urged students to take advantage of the opportunities the college offers to develop and realize their aspirations.
Earlier, Commandant of the 60th Battalion of ITBP, Ziro, Shailendra Singh Nagarkoti declared the fest open during the inaugural ceremony held on October 16 last.
Resonance is an annual event of Saint Claret College, Ziro, conducted for students to provide them with an avenue to showcase their talents in numerous fields. The Junior Claretine Council (JCC), the student council of the college assisted the staff ably in organising the event.
