KHONSA, Oct 14:
Prominent public leader, Wangdi Hakhun passed away on Friday following a brief illness at Khonsa.
Late Hakhun had unsuccessfully contested from 56-Khonsa West Assembly Election in 1994 on an Independent ticket. He also served as President DCC (I) Tirap in 2015.
Meanwhile local MLA, Khonsa has condoled his demise and said that not only Dadam area but entire Tirap District has lost one of its prominent public leaders and a fatherly figure.
The last rites which will be performed as per Nocte tradition on Sunday next.
