AALO, Oct 28:  In a tragic incident, a 39-year-old Power Department worker was electrocuted in the West Siang district headquarters of Aalo on Saturday while carrying out maintenance work. The victim has been identified as Morge Bagra, a resident of Lipu Bagra village.
The unfortunate event transpired when Bagra, along with his fellow department workers, was reportedly engaged in maintenance duties at Bogdo, near Aalo informed Inspector Duto Bagra, the officer in charge of the Aalo police station. He added that  Bagra came into contact with a live wire, resulting in his immediate and tragic demise.
The specific cause of this unfortunate fatality has not been disclosed by the police officer, as a post-mortem examination is currently underway at Aalo General Hospital, he stated.
"We have initiated an investigation, and we will provide further details once we have received the post-mortem report," stated the police officer.
A case of unnatural death has been officially registered at the Aalo police station under Section 174 of the CrPC.
