ITANAGAR, Dec 28: Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex, Talo Potom has mandated comprehensive health checkups for both government and private schools in the Itanagar Capital Region (ICR), demonstrating a commitment to students' well-being.
Encouraging a sense of collective ownership, the DC urged the students and public to treat government properties as their own.
In a move to enhance educational facilities, the ICR district administration, led by DC Talo Potom and DDSE ST Zara, distributed 50 benches and desks to the Government Secondary School in Pachin Colony, Naharlagun, in collaboration with SMC members and officials.
The event witnessed active participation from officers and officials, showcasing a joint effort to uplift educational infrastructure in the region.
Potom, in a dialogue with students, emphasized the importance of respecting parents, teaching and non-teaching staff, and elders, along with a call for a collective pledge against the use of alcohol and other harmful substances.
Expressing gratitude, Nang Ekthani Mounglang, the headmistress of the Government Secondary School in Pachin Colony, Naharlagun, acknowledged the district administration's efforts, recognizing the positive impact on the school's environment and infrastructure.
