MAHADEVPUR, Jun 23: Namsai District Police have recovered a body of an unidentified male from Pabojaan Nallah in Krishnapur Village, located in the Mahadevpur region of Namsai district. The Mahadevpur police has issued a public notice requesting assistance in identifying the deceased.
The body was discovered by local residents who promptly informed the authorities. Police were quick to respond and secure the area. As of now, the identity of the deceased remains unknown. The individual is described as approximately 5'4" in height with a reddish complexion and black curly hair. At the time of discovery, the person was wearing a cream-colored polo T-shirt and holding a red local gamcha (towel) in the left hand.
The Mahadevpur Police Station has urged anyone with information that could help identify the body to contact them.
