DOIMUKH, Jul 17: Authorities have launched an urgent investigation after a body was discovered on the railway tracks near Kolma Village, Doimukh on Wednesday morning.
Investigating the incident, the police team who rushed to the spot informed that the body was initially unidentified, however it was later identified as Taba Tubing.
"We urge the public to stay vigilant, especially when near railway tracks, and to avoid activities such as walking or jogging on or near the tracks as it poses a significant danger to life," Superintendent of Police (SP) Papum Pare, Taru Gusar said. He also emphasized the importance of public cooperation in gathering information that could aid in the investigation.
Authorities are appealing to anyone with information related to the incident to come forward. The community's assistance is deemed crucial in piecing together the events leading up to the tragic death, the SP said.
