ITANAGAR, Nov 1: Mandala Top in Dirang, West Kameng district is all set for the inaugural India Vision Mandala Festival from November 4-5 next. This unique musical event aims to unite people through an array of diverse genres and will take place in the picturesque and mystical forest of Mandala Top, nestled at an impressive altitude of 10,500 feet above sea level.
It promises a captivating musical journey featuring some of the best DJs from India, as well as the globally renowned DJ Fred Neuromotor from Spain. The event will be a celebration not only of electronic and live music but also of the rich heritage of folk music from the region. The Department of Youth Affairs, Arunachal Pradesh, is proud to support this transformative experience. Xtreme Himalayas is a proud partner of the festival. The festival's diverse musical offerings encompass Electronic, Psy-Trance, Folk, Contemporary, and Bollywood genres, ensuring that there's something for everyone to enjoy. The festival also promises an enchanting fusion of creativity, with distinctive partnerships set to mesmerize both tourists and festival-goers. Orchestrated by the Mon Multi-Purpose Development Cooperative Society in Dirang, its noble purpose is to shed light on the perils of drug abuse. Anticipate the vibrant presence of Women's Self-Help Groups (SHGs) hailing from the picturesque Gyalshing district in Sikkim, converging with numerous SHGs from Dirang. Together, they are set to unveil a culinary extravaganza, tantalizing taste buds with the ancient Millet delicacies of the indigenous Monpa tribe at various food stalls, aligning with the ‘International Year of Millet.’
