ITANAGAR, Oct 18: The Paralympic Association of Arunachal congratulated state para-Karate athletes who won three gold medals in recently conducted 21st State Level Karate-Do Championship 2023 at Naharlagun from October 14 to 17. The event was organised by the Arunachal Karate-Do Association under the aegis of Arunachal Olympic Association recognized by  Department of Sports and Youth Affairs.
Gollo John, won the gold medal in men's blindfold category, Taru Richo, bagged gold medal in men's wheelchair category while Mudang Yabyang, won gold medal in the women's wheelchair category.
The trio's achievements is a great inspiration for the upcoming sportspersons with disabilities. These champions will represent Arunachal Pradesh in upcoming National level Para karate event, the association said.
