ITANAGAR, Oct 28: The Pan Arunachal Joint Steering Committee (PAJSC) has resumed its four-day dharna at the Tennis Court in Itanagar, demanding the fulfillment of its 13-point demand.
Speaking to the media, Chairman of PAJSC, Techi Puru, expressed concern that the 13-point demand is yet to be met by the state government. He acknowledged that the state government has made some significant decisions, but none of the points have reached a conclusive resolution.
He further explained that after numerous efforts and navigating various channels, they have been granted permission for only four days to stage their protest. However, Puru made it clear that they would not cease their protest until the state government provides a logical conclusion to the issue. He emphasized that the main accused, Taket Jerang, has not been suspended, and no other arrests have been made by the investigation agencies thus far.
