YINGKIONG, Mar 9:  An opium destruction drive led by Adi Baane Kebang, Women Wing district unit within Mariyang sub-division concluded without any untoward incidents on March 6 last. The team was assisted by the District Administration and Police all through and a total of 120 plots were destructed.

EAC Tatling Pertin, CO Jacob Tabing, DSP T. Tatak and OC Ange Miyu assisted during the drive.

Further, the Women Wing lauded the Deputy Commissioner Remo Kamki for the wholehearted support in providing transportation and other logistic support during the entire drive.
