DEOMALI, Nov 22: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of the Wangcha Rajkumar Govt. College, Deomali, officially embraced the neighbouring village of Namsang for a three-year period (2023-26) on November 21. 
NSS volunteers undertook initiatives, including clearing a nearby field and establishing a volleyball court. They also donated sports equipment for the village youth.
The NSS Programme Officer enlightened the audience about NSS's diverse social activities, urging active participation and advising the youth to steer clear of vices. The volunteers also cleaned the school campus and provided dustbins. Captains of the NSS volunteers delivered compelling presentations on environmental protection and the significance of community service.
