ITANAGAR, Jun 3:  The National People's Party (NPP) has expressed profound gratitude to the people of Arunachal Pradesh for their robust support in the recent assembly elections.
In a statement released today, NPP National President Conrad K. Sangma extended heartfelt thanks to the voters for their overwhelming participation and trust in the party's vision for the state.
Sangma congratulated all the NPP candidates who worked tirelessly during the election campaign, as well as the party's youth front, women's front, and block-level members for their unwavering dedication. "Your hard work and commitment have been instrumental in our success," he said.
Special acknowledgment was given to the state unit of the NPP, including the president, secretary, and all state office bearers, whose relentless efforts over the past few months played a crucial role in the party's victory.
Sangma emphasized the NPP's commitment to the development of Arunachal Pradesh and the broader northeast region. "The recent election results have strengthened our resolve to ensure that the issues related to the Northeast are always addressed," he stated. "We will continue to work tirelessly towards the overall development of our people."
NPP has secured 5 seats in the recently concluded state assembly election, Namgey Tsering from 2-Tawang AC, Pesi Jilen from 27 Liromoba, Tapi Darang from 38-Pasighat-East, Oni Panyang from 40 -Mariyang, and Thangwang Wangham from 59-Longding-Pumao constituency.
