Itanagar, Jul 24: Chief Minister Pema Khandu said that due to the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) fiasco, there has been no appointments of entry grade and lateral entry administrative officers for the last 2-3
years. As a result out of the 230 sanctioned posts of circle officers, only 130 posts are occupied leaving a huge gap of 106 officers. Out of the 17 posts that were sanctioned for Tirap district only, eight posts have been posted in the district till date. The CM assured that recruitment process would start soon as the Commission is in place now.
Khandu, was replying to a supplementary question raised by MLA Wanglin Lowangdong, regarding the shortage of
administrative officers in Tirap district.
