Namsai, Feb 19: Maj Gen K. Narayanan, AVSM, SM, Project Director ( Niti Aayog ) chaired a review meeting on Aspirational Block Program for Chowkham Block today at DC’s conference hall, Namsai.
During the review meeting, the KPIs for Chowkham Block were discussed, along with a number of implementation and saturation-related concerns at the grassroots level.
Maj Gen K. Narayanan reinstated  NITI Aayog’s vision for  cooperative federalism and emphasised the importance of bottom to top approach in policy framework.
He praised the district team for adhering to the 3 Cs of ADP viz. collaboration, convergence and competition in its implementation and achieving the targeted KPIs.
In his concluding remark, he appreciated the work of the district administration, commended the district’s  innovative initiatives “Hamara Vidyalaya” and “Pehli Sawari” and assured to bring the district's problems to NITI Aagoy’s attention and return with some fruitful suggestions.
