Khandu inaugurates Arunachal Niwas, fourth facility in New Delhi
Assam-Arunachal border delineation exercise concludes in Lower Siang
Itanagar, Mar 23: In an instance of laxity and much to the dismay of all and sundry, the Lummer Dai road plaque near the State’s premier hospital has been left in a state of abandonment.
Apparently, the road plaque near the Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) has been dented during the road construction on NH-415. Consequently, the department has been urged to do up the structure.
The concerned quarters feel dejected at the plight of Luminous Lummer Dai, not only a leading light in the world of Assamese literature in Arunachal Pradesh but also a doyen of journalism in the State, and called for early redressal of the issue through the renovation of the marker carrying the name of Lummer Dai, who acted as a linkman to promote socio-cultural unity, brotherhood and harmony among the people of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
