ITANAGAR, Feb 3: State BJP President Kaling Moyong addressed the media on Union Budget 2025-26 at State BJP HQ Itanagar on Monday.  He appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA government at the Centre for presenting the union budget 2025-26, terming it ‘people-friendly, middle class  and lower middle class budget.’
The budget is ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’, which cover for the welfare of all sections of people. While highlighting the union budget, he said that income tax relief in Budget 2025-26 is betting big on the middle class. The proposed revised tax rates, which highlights that income up to Rs 12 lakh will draw zero income tax rates has won the heart of Indian middle class. It is truly a thoughtful gesture. He said that congress used to charged income tax from Rs. 2.5 lakh income in 2024, now BJP Govt has increase that by nearly 5 times to Rs. 12 lakh income, he added.
Moyong said that yet another feature about the Budget is the facelift given to the UDAN Scheme. The Centre now plans to launch a modified version of the UDAN Scheme, which aims to enhance regional connectivity to 120 new destinations in the country and state of Arunachal Pradesh will improve under this scheme like Holongi, Pasighat, Tezu etc.
He said that government will undertake a 'Prime Minister Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana' in partnership with states. Kisan Credit Cards (KCC) facilitate short term loans for farmers. The KCC  loan limit will be enhanced from 3lakh to 5 lakh for loans under the modified interest subvention which will be maximum benefits the farmers.
He said that the Govt will introduce 'Customized Credit Cards with a `5 lakh limit for Micro Enterprises registered on Udyam portal. In the first year, 10 lakh such cards will be issued. A new Fund of Funds for Startups, with a contribution of `10,000 crore will be set up. A new scheme will be launched for 5 lakh women, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes First-time entrepreneurs'. This will provide Term Loans up to Rs. 2 crore during the next 5 years.  For Micro and Small Enterprises, from `5 crore to `10 crore, leading to additional credit of `1.5 lakh crore in the next 5 years, For Startups, from `10 crore to 20 crore, with the guarantee fee being moderated to 1 per cent for loans in 27 focus sectors important for Atmanirbhar Bharat,  For well-run exporter MSMES, for term loans up to `20 crore. In the Tourism sector, Top 50 tourist destination sites in India will be developed in partnership with states through a challenge mode. the following measures will be taken for facilitating employment led growth.
Providing MUDRA loans for homestays, providing performance-linked incentives to states for effective destination management including tourist amenities, cleanliness, and marketing efforts. The youths will be benefits at large. 
On Culture and Tradition,  Gyan Bharatam Mission for survey, documentation and conservation of our manuscript, heritage with academic institutions, museums, libraries and private collectors will be undertaken to cover more than one crore manuscripts. This scheme will help protection and preservation of  Arunachal’s cultural and traditional indigenous cultural heritage and practices, Moyong said.
State BJP President Kaling Moyong, on behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh  thanked PM Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for presenting a people friendly budget stating ‘over all this budget is for an Atmanibhar Developed Bharat and Developed Arunachal.’
