Yupia, Aug 14: MLA Nabam Vivek made a whirlwind tour of Tarasso circle under his constituency on Wednesday covering multiple areas on a single day to assess the condition and progress of local amenities as part of the ongoing efforts to improve rural infrastructures and to interact with the public.
During the visit, he was accompanied by local officials and community leaders. The visit included inspections of several key amenities, including government schools and police outpost at Bormai and Tarasso.
During his visit to the schools, the MLA engaged in discussions with students, teachers and SMC members and listened to their concerns and suggestions for creating a conducive and holistic academic environment.
In response to these concerns, Vivek assured that steps would be taken to address the issues promptly.
“We are committed to ensuring that every citizen, regardless of where they live, has access to essential services. The government is working towards sustainable development in rural areas, ” he added
It is worth mentioning that earlier in July, the local legislator had donated iron framed benches, desks, beds, fans and computer systems to the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Awasiya Vidyalaya at Dariyabil; constructed an Assembly shed for Upper Primary School Yupia. and donated water filters to Govt. Secondary School, Mani.
Nabam Vivek will be joining the public of Taraso for the 78th Independence Day celebrations.
