SAGALEE, Aug 8: Sagalee MLA Er. Ratu Techi, inaugurated the new RCC School Building of Govt. Upper Primary School, Balapu under Sagalee on Wednesday last.
He also visited the health and wellness centre and interacted with the medical staff. Addressing a public meeting held in the school premises, Techi congratulated the public of Balapu and the nearby villages. The MLA said “good infrastructure creates a conducive atmosphere for the students to study and exhorted all to help in the upkeep of the government assets.”
While replying to the memorandum submitted by the organizing committee chairman Tana Sania seeking additional funds for extension of class room, teachers quarters, establishment of Inter village residential School, etc., the MLA assured to take up the proposals in a phase wise manner.
He also assured to provide Rs.1,50,000.00 for a footpath at the health and wellness centre, Balapu.
ZPC Smt. Nabam Yakum while addressing the gathering called for coordinated efforts from all the departments for accelerated socio economic development in the area.
