TAKILALUNG, Dec 18: Pasighat East MLA Kaling Moyong and Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu today interacted with rural beneficiaries and felicitated/ handed over certificates to the beneficiaries of Prandhan Mantri Awas Gram Yojana (Gramin), Atma Nirbhar Bhagwani Yojana (ANBY), PM Matru Vandhana Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission etc., at Takilalung village during the ongoing VBSY Campaign in the Pasighat CD Block in East Siang.
The MLA also handed over appreciation letters (Abhinandan patras) for Runne and Takilalung Gram Panchayat segments for achieving the status of “Har Ghar Jal Panchayat" under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) & ODF Plus under Swacch Bharat Mission (Grameen) phase-II. The display of Agriculture spray drone organized by the Dept. of Agriculture, awareness by the DAO on Agriculture spray drone, PM Kisan, NPSS App for farmers, ANBY etc and various other schemes, IEC van were other highlights.
The Pasighat East MLA during his interaction, urged the rural farmers to adopt agri mechanization tools under various schemes of the Central and State Government to boost their agriculture and horticulture production. The MLA also urged SHGs to avail various income generating schemes and spoke on Central Government initiatives under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi for providing 24 x 7 power, water and road connectivity in rural areas through the various flagship programmes.
DC Tayi Taggu speaking on the importance of the VBSY campaign to disseminate awareness on Central Govt. welfare schemes urged to come forward to avail various welfare schemes of the Central Government adding that HoDs of every department is available to address their queries. The DC also urged rural artisans and craftsmen to avail the Pradhan mantra Vishwakarma Scheme through the department of panchayat and Industries. DIPRO, Pasighat
