DAPORIJO, Aug 11: Minister of Textile and Handicraft, Industries, Nyato Dukam, actively participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyaan today by leading a spirited Tiranga Yatra in Daporijo. The event, organized by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Upper Subansiri District Unit, saw enthusiastic participation from the local community, including Daporijo MLA Taniya Soki, BJYM Upper Subansiri District Unit President Tayo Soki and others.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Dukam emphasized the importance of the National Flag as a symbol of unity, pride, and the diverse cultural heritage of India. “Our Tricolor represents the collective spirit of our nation, the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, and the values that bind us as Indians. Let us hoist the Tiranga with pride at our homes, workplaces, and institutions, reaffirming our commitment to the country’s progress and unity,” he said.
The Tiranga Yatra, which featured over a hundred motorbikes, was a vibrant display of patriotism. The participants, carrying the National Flag, traversed through the streets of Daporijo, evoking a sense of pride and unity among the residents.
Earlier in the day, Minister Dukam also administered the Tiranga Pledge to the participants, urging them to uphold the honor of the National Flag in every aspect of their lives. He encouraged everyone to participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and make it a resounding success across the district and beyond.
Dukam  further added, “The Tiranga is not just a flag; it is a beacon of hope, resilience, and the undying spirit of our nation. By participating in this Abhiyaan, we not only honor our flag but also reinforce our shared responsibility towards building a stronger and more prosperous India.”
The event concluded with a collective resolve to keep the Tricolor flying high, reflecting the unwavering commitment of the people of Upper Subansiri to the nation’s ideals.
