Yingkiong, Mar 12: Member, Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights ( APSCPCR), Yahung Tekseng passed away on 11th March at his private residence at Yingkiong, Upper Siang District after prolonged illness. He is survived by his wife, four sons and four daughters.
Late Tekseng was a prominent public leader and a social worker who served society in various positions. He did his schooling from Govt Higher Secondary School, Yingkiong and graduation from JNC Pasighat. After graduation he briefly served as teacher and Page 2..

thereafter, he joined active politics and served as Anchal Samiti Member (ASM) from 1988 - 1991. In the year 1995, he was appointed as Arunachal Pradesh State Cooperative Union(APSCU), Chairman and in 2009 also served as Upper Siang District Unit, President of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). During the time of his demise, Late Tekseng was serving as a Member, APSCPCR. His remains were laid to rest today at Yingkiong.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner, Upper Siang Talo Jerang deeply condoled the untimely demise of Tekseng. In his condolence message, the DC termed Late Tekseng as a prominent public figure of Upper Siang District and stated that his remarkable contributions towards society and impact on countless lives will be remembered forever.
