ITANAGAR, Nov 30: Arunachal Pradesh is all set to host the first edition of "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat - Bharat Lok Sangeet Arunachal Utsav", at Namsai in the month of February next year. In this regard,  Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, convened a meeting today to deliberate on the implementation of significant budget announcement schemes; "Folk Music and Dance Festival of Arunachal Pradesh" and “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat”.
Mein, known for his commitment to the cultural and touristic enrichment of Arunachal Pradesh, emphasized the significance of initiatives that showcase the state's rich cultural tapestry. He highlighted the importance of effectively implementing these schemes to promote the rich cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh through the initiative.
In the meeting, ways to implement the "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" scheme, which strives to foster unity and cultural exchange between different States of India were also discussed.
Mein expressed his belief in the immense potential of the tourism industry in the State and highlighted the need for a comprehensive road map to promote tourism in Arunachal Pradesh, recognizing it as a promising avenue for economic growth.  
The meeting was attended by MLA, Namsai Chau Zingnu Namchoom, Secretary (Planning & Investment), R K Sharma, Secretary (Indigenous Affairs), Pige Ligu, Director (Planning & Investment), Pallab Dey, Director (Indigenous Affairs), Sokhep Kri and Director (Tourism), K N Damo.
