ITANAGAR, Nov 23: An important meeting of Power, Forest, Land Management and Deputy Commissioners was convened by Deputy Chief Minister and the Minister-In-Charge of Power & NCER, Chowna Mein to review the pending issues being encountered in implementation of the project "Comprehensive Scheme for Strengthening of Transmission & Distribution System in Arunachal Pradesh" (CSST&DS-AP) at the State Civil Secretariat today.
Citing the significance of the project to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply to all parts of the State, Deputy Chief Minister has urged the Deputy Commissioners to take up this scheme on priority basis. He asked the Deputy Commissioners to take the pending land issues seriously and to gear up the acquisition of land and also to resolve all pending issues by December 24, this year. He suggested them to create a separate cell for the project and also to take the help of local representatives to resolve complicated issues.
The meeting also discussed various measures to expedite the implementation of the scheme and ensure timely completion of all pending projects.
Chief Secretary, Dharmendra, PCCF, Jitendra Kumar, Advisor to DCM, Anupam Tangu, Commissioner (Power), Ankur Garg, Secretary Power, R K Sharma, Secretary (LM), A K Singh, Chief Engineer (Transmission), T K Tara, CGM (PowerGrid), P V S Sudhagar, GM (PGCIL), Vineet Kumar, Deputy Commissioners, DFOs and DLRSOs from 20 districts attended the meeting.
