AALO, July 23: The 12th Market Regulatory Committee (MRC) meeting was held at DC conference hall, Aalo under the chairmanship of Mabi Taipodia Jini, ADC cum chairman. The MRC regulates the prices of various essential commodities of the Aalo township market. During the meeting, the rate of essential commodities was fixed. Jini urged all the workers of unorganized sectors to enroll their details in the e-shram portals to get benefit from the government’s social security scheme.
BDO Dongam Loya Nyodu highlighted the importance of E-shram and appealed to all the stakeholders to avail the benefits and enroll in the portal.
During the meeting it was also decided to ban the selling of roasted chicken along the road sides of the district headquarters. The district administration decided to identify alternate locations for the same for sanitation purposes.
The MRC further appealed to all the shopkeepers to cooperate and follow the rates fixed by them.
The meeting was attended by members of ATPWDS, Admin Officers, All Market Welfare Committees and Members of Market Regulatory Committees.
