ITANAGAR, Nov 13: Indra Mallo, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Govt. of India visited Tezu today and interacted with all the WCD state officials and non-institutional care beneficiaries in presence of DC Lohit and administrative officers at District Secretariat, Tezu.
DC Shashvat Saurabh, welcomed the state guest with great verve and highlighted the issues and the fast pace development activities going on in district and particularly in the field of AWC and education.
Joint Secy interacted with the beneficiaries of non institutional care and encourage them to continue their studies. She also urged the DC to extend all possible way in delivering services to the beneficiaries.
She thoroughly reviewed the status on Child Helpline, one stop center, POCSO cases, WHL, anganwadi centres, CCL and other various issues faced while facilitating the services.
Further, she took stock of the activities undertaken by the concerned WCD department in the district and issued necessary direction to all the stakeholders and concerned members for attaining the objectives. She also urged everyone to coordinate with each other and directed the administrative officers to monitor them regularly. a
