Tezu, Sep 24: The District Level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee (DLVMC) was convened today under the leadership of Shashvat Saurabh, Deputy Commissioner Lohit, alongside key members including ZPC Lohit, DRCS Tezu, the Chairman of LCGS Ltd, and the I/c FCI-FSD Tezu.
The meeting focused on a comprehensive review of circle-level vigilance committee reports from Sunpura, Wakro, and Tezu Sadar. The committee closely examined the distribution of PDS rice under the NFSA scheme, emphasizing the importance of accurately documented delivery challans.
Deputy Commissioner Lohit, in his capacity as chairperson of the DLVMC, commended the effective distribution of NFSA foodgrains, noting the absence of complaints. He urged members to enhance the vibrancy and accountability of PDS operations to better serve the community.
