Basar, Mar 12: The District Task Force for Immunization cum Performance Review Meeting of District Health Society, National Health Mission, Leparada District for the financial year 2024-25 was chaired by ADC-cum-DC in-charge Ejum Angu here on Wednesday.
DRCHO Dr. Karmar Dirch made a presentation on Special Vaccination Campaign 3.0 (SVC3.0), Routine Immunization (RI) update and health care service delivery of all healthcare facilities of the district, where he discussed the issues being faced in implementing the health delivery system and the way forward through these challenges. Target beneficiaries for SVC 3.0 will be 0 to 5 years of age, Td10 and Td16 will be administered to adolescent of 10 years and 16 years of age. All other age-appropriate vaccines will also be administered in a week-long campaign from March 17 next.
DMO Dr. Emo Basar requested Block Medical Officers to follow timelines in accordance with the guidance note and launch the SVC3.0 at all blocks by prominent leaders. He requested to ensure availability of vaccines, logistics, AEFI kits, IEC materials at all vaccination sites.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Nyage Lombi added that a tele-medicine hub has been installed at Todak Basar District Hospital Basar that connects patients through health workers and medical officers in Health & Wellness Centers to the doctors and specialists in hubs established in secondary/tertiary level health facilities. This variant is based on a Hub-and-Spoke model.  
ADC-cum-DC i/c Ejum Angu while appreciating the efforts put by Health & Wellness Officer of Pagi, Dorputu and Padi to qualify for State Certification under National Quality Assurance Standards, he took stock of the situation and various challenges by medical personnel of the health centers. He said that the performance of officers must be reflected through their hard work, sincerity and dedication, as the health sector is a focused department and therefore, it is necessary for all to give their effort efficiently while providing service to the public.
Meeting was also attended by HoD of Education, ICDS, Urban Development.
