Roing, Nov 21: World Fisheries Day was observed today in Lower Dibang Valley by the District Fishery Development Office, Roing.
A training programme on "Application and Practices of fish feed in Aquaculture" was conducted with felicitation of Fish farmers with outstanding performance in fish farming. 
Around 20 farmers participated in the programme. Fish feed was distributed to the participants. Demonstration of Fish feed formulation with locally available feed ingredients was done.
All the participants took keen interest and actively participated in the "Brainstorming session on Practical aspects on fish farming".
