ITANAGAR, Oct 22: In a heartbreaking incident, Eranso Pul, the 9-year-old son of late Chief Minister Kalikho Pul, passed away today due to a heart attack. The young boy, who had been battling congenital heart disease since birth, succumbed at Tezu General Hospital.
Eranso, the son of late Kalikho Pul and Vikilu Pul, had recently undergone a heart transplant surgery just five months ago at MGM hospital, Chennai in an attempt to address his complex heart condition. Born with a congenital heart defect, a structural problem of the heart present from birth, Eranso faced several health challenges throughout his young life. Despite the surgery, his condition remained severe, requiring continuous medical intervention and possibly more surgeries in the future.
Congenital heart defects, particularly complex ones like Eranso’s, often require multiple surgeries over several years, and complications can arise at any time.
