Pasighat, May 2: The Arunachal Pradesh Trade Union Federation (APTUF), Pasighat Unit celebrated International Labour Day with enthusiasm on May 1.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest MLA Tapi Darang emphasised that workers are the backbone of development and stressed the need for fair wages, safe working conditions, and effective implementation of welfare schemes. He also called for skill development and stronger coordination between workers and the administration.
Dignitaries present included Okom Yosung, Dobing Sonam (President, AAPPTF), Tagom Padung (Chief Councillor, PMC), Tadam Haging (ZPM & Secretary, AAPPRP), along with representatives of APTUF and other stakeholders.
