PASIGHAT, Aug 18: In a bid to enhance confidence amongst students and to guide them to choose their career options, the Kargu Kardi Students Union (KKSU) organised a day long career counselling programme at Pasighat on Sunday. The programme is a part of the students outreach programme in relation to the 52nd foundation day of KKSU.
“We are organising career counselling by inviting experts from the domain and our next programme will be at Donyi Polo Government College, Kamki and I would appeal our students to participate in the programme and plan their careers by taking appropriate advice from experts,” said Minku Tato, President of KKSU in a press statement.
Ranjan K Baruah, career mentor and skill trainer from Guwahati and Jummo Potom, Social Development Expert, Government of Arunachal Pradesh were the resource persons who guided the students at Pasighat. Resource persons covered different topics like career planning and importance of employability skills. They have also elaborated on different government jobs and how aspirants may apply for the jobs.
Pakpu Gako, Organising Chairman of 52nd Foundation Day of KKSU has appealed to all aspirants and students to attend the forthcoming counselling programme conducted by KKSU in different parts of the state.
