BORDUMSA, Oct 16: The World Sight Week was observed at Bordumsa Community Health Center in collaboration with the Operation Eyesight Universal today.
The week was marked by 60-eye operations and declaration of Kherem Kachari Village as Avoidable Blindness-Free by the chief guest and International Programme Coordinator of Operation Eyesight Universal, Yashwant Sinha.
Earlier in the day Dr. Taba Khanna, SPO, National Programme for Control Blindness & Visual Impairment, highlighted the activities of the ongoing ABFAR Project and the importance of vision for living a productive and dignified life.
