PASIGHAT, Sep 13: The Jawaharlal Nehru College, fraternity organized the Freshers' Welcome cum 'Diksharambh' ceremony to induct the newly admitted students into the system of Higher Education under the purview of National Education Policy 2020.
The programme was befittingly organized by Again Taboh, Union Advisor, J N College, Pasighat. On the occasion, faculty members addressed the gathering and briefed the students regarding examination system, subject combination and other pertinent cells of the oldest institute of higher education in the state.
Dr D P Panda, the IQAC Coordinator, Koj Taro, exam superintendent, Dr Leki Sitang, Vice- Principal and HoDs delivered lectures to counsel and motivate the young minds. Dr Tasi Taloh, the Principal and the Patron of the programme greeted the students and advised them to work hard to add laurels to the golden history of this academic temple.
