ITANAGAR, Oct 9: Reiterating early release of its pending wages to concern authority, the Itanagar Traffic Wardens (ITW) has requested Deputy Commissioner, Capital Complex on Monday to absorb the working 185 traffic wardens under his command and authority.
In a representation, the ITW disclosed that from last August, after Chief estate officer relieved all ITWs from their services following their mass "Whistle down Strike" protest, since then they are facing untold miseries as there is no in-charge to look after them resulting in inconveniences in delivering public duties.
Suggesting the DC to initiate necessary measures to absorb all ITWs under his control, it also made an earnest appeal to the DC to accept their proposal and sought his intervention in pending salary issue
