ITANAGAR, Oct 20:  Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar Talo Potom kicked off the Interschool literary competition under Rashtriya Aviskar Abhiyan (RAA) for both Elementary and Secondary levels today at the Conference Hall of the DDSE Office at Papunallah Naharlagun. 
The program was organised by the office of DDSE-cum-DPO,ISSE Itanagar Capital for the students of the government schools of Capital Itanagar. 
The DC while interacting with the students asked them to give their best and to utilise such platforms that provides an opportunity to actively participate in co-curricular activities apart from the academic calendar. He also emphasised on the importance of discipline, good moral character and how relation between teachers and students should be. 
DDSE S.T.Zara highlighted that the aim of the programme is to provide the students of government school a platform to showcase their talents in such fields. 
DPC Kipa Kechak informed that the competition witnessed more than 230 students from various government schools of the Itanagar Capital Region.
Later the DC felicitated the top three with cash prize along with memento and certificate.
