ITANAGAR, Oct 31: Indigenous Faith & Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) had a hectic four-day tour of Upper Siang District, which concluded on Monday.
The 17-member strong IFCSAP Central Executive Committee (CEC) team under the leadership of Er. Katung Wahge, President and Adv. Tambo Tamin, General Secretary during the four days exhaustive tour had meaningful interactions with all the stakeholders at various places like Mariyang, Yingkiong, Tuting, Gelling and Singa, besides interacting with many of the villagers all along like Bomdo, Ngaming, Kuging, Mankota, Tashi Gaon, Simuge, Janbo and Gobuk.
During the tour, the team patiently heard local grievances and bottlenecks in preserving and promoting their own languages, rich age old culture and traditions.
The IFCSAP President also assured all concerned to take up with the competent authority at the government levels the grievances placed by them.
All the locals concerned were also briefed on the importance of the forthcoming Silver Jubilee Celebration to be observed at Itanagar in 2024 in a grand manner.
