PASIGHAT, Oct 5: East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu during a meeting on ‘School Mentorship Program’ held today on adoption of schools by HoDS and Administrative Officers of the district asked the officers to go the extra mile and take upon their responsibility with zeal and enthusiasm to contribute in boosting the academic performance of the district, towards building a bright future for future generations.
As guardians of their respective schools, the DC asked the officers to visit their respective schools, take monthly review and also submit monthly report. He also asked them to motivate and guide the students and teachers of the schools under their care to boost up the academic performances and all round development of the students and also understand the intervention needed for their schools.
The DC has adopted UPS Town, UPS Boying while SP Sumit Kumar Jha, ADC (Hq) Oli Perme, ADC Mebo Aeinstein Koyu and Ruksin ADC Tajing Jonnom, JDHS (BPGH) Dr. T. Tali, CEO Smart City Dr. Manjuli Komut and HoDs of government departments and Administrative Officers have also come forward to adopt schools.
DDSE O. Tabing who is the Nodal Officer of the district for the School Mentorship programme of the GoAP shared the aims and objectives of the mentorship for quality education, also asked for diligent monthly submission of reports and thanked the support and keen interest of the officers for the education sector.
