Itanagar, Jul 3: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd.) met the Governor of Karnataka Thawar Chand Gehlot at Raj Bhavan, Bangalore on Wednesday. The Governor, who was accompanied by the First Lady of the State, Anagha Parnaik, discussed the welfare of the people of Arunachal Pradesh, with a particular focus on students and medical patients.
Parnaik highlighted that Bangalore is one of India's top educational hubs, with a significant number of students from Arunachal Pradesh pursuing higher education there. He requested the Karnataka Governor to support and look after these students' well-being.
Additionally, the Governor mentioned that many patients travel to Karnataka for medical treatments and asked the Karnataka Governor to ensure these patients receive the best care and comfort during their stay.
On behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh, the Governor extended an invitation to the Governor and First Lady of Karnataka Anita Gehlot to visit Arunachal Pradesh.
