ITANAGAR, Nov 11: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General K.T. Parnaik (Retd.) has extended warm greetings to the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Diwali (Deepawali). He prayed that the festivity ushers in peace, prosperity and joy in the State.
In his message, the Governor said that Diwali, the festival of lights, inspires us to move from darkness to light. It symbolizes triumph of good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. Diwali also marks the birth of a new and rejuvenated soul. On this righteous day, let us light the lamps of compassion, love and virtue and promote amity and brotherhood in the society, he said.
The Governor, while conveying his greetings to all, has appealed to each and every citizen of our State for a pollution-free Deepavali celebration
