Itanagar, May 15: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General K.T. Parnaik (Retd.) has conveyed greetings to the people of Sikkim on their 49th Statehood Day. He has also extended good wishes to the people of Sikkim residing in Arunachal Pradesh and expressed gratitude for their contributions in the peace and progress of the State.
While extending greetings on behalf of the people and the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, the Governor said that Sikkim is one of the best examples for the rest of the country on cleanliness, vibrant tourism and organic farming. With the collective will and cooperation of the people, the people of Sikkim have shown how people can live together and grow with absolute consciousness towards the environment and sustainable growth, he said.
May your wonderful State, blessed with exceptional natural beauty and hardworking people attain immense progress in all sectors, the Governor wished in his letter to Lakshman Prasad Acharya, Governor of Sikkim.
