Naharlagun, May 13: The golden Jubilee Capital Complex Dree Festival Badminton Tournament 2024 concluded on a colourful note. The 3-day sporting event witnessed a total of 115 players ranging from the age group of 14 to 50 years and above enthusiastically participating in the event. The final matches were held at Dree Auditorium, Papu Nalla, Naharlagun on Sunday.
The closing ceremony was graced by Mr. Hibu Dole(Rtd IFS) along with his better half Mrs. Dindi and Shri Dani Pyaro, Dy Secretary (Rtd) as the special invitees respectively. Later they also distributed prizes to all the winners.
The last day of the tournament started with action-packed final matches being played by the finalists drawing the audience in palpitation. 
Mom Nitin stood out as one of the best performing players of the championship. He emerged as winner in Men's Singles Open, Men's Doubles Open and Mixed Doubles Open categories.
Gyati Biinya emerged as a winner of the (U-14) girls category. Rubu Taling bagged the first position in the (U-14) boys category. Kago Byai, becomes the oldest winner by clinching the first prize in the (50 yrs & above)
Super Veteran Man's Singles category. He defeated Dr.Hage Tadii in the final. Gyati Kacho and Bamin Laji bagged first position in the Super Veteran Men’s Doubles category.
