PASIGHAT, Aug 1: The Akashvani Pasighat along with other Akashvani stations of the North East Zone carried out a month long “Gift A Radio” campaign during the month of July. To mark the end of this eventful campaign, a formal closing ceremony was organized today in the office premises of Akashvani Pasighat. The event witnessed participations of all the Casual Assignees, Broadcast Assistants, Data Entry Operators and staff members of the organisation.
While highlighting about the eventful campaign, Programme Head  Idom Pertin thanked all the participants of the campaign for their active participation. The Programme Head also extended his gratefulness to the resource person like Padmasri Yanung Jamoh Lego, Principal JN College Dr Tasi Taloh, Pasighat, Principal, Government Nursing College, Pasighat Natel Jamoh, and former Joint Director of Health Services Dr Kaling Dai for their appeal for participation in “Gift A Radio Campaign”. “Their messages in the social media in the initial stage accelerated of our campaign and they became our ambassadors in this month long campaign” stated Pertin. 
The Head of Akashvani Pasighat also extended his profound thanks to Ashish Bhatnagar, Additional Director General (A&BO) Akashvani and Doordarshan, North East Zone for conceiving such noble ideas. 
Deputy Director and Engineering Head, Modi Prasad also spoke on the occasion. He emphasized upon the Casual Assignees to become more tech savvy and be ready to participate in any kind of competition in future.
