SANGRAM, Dec 8: Hundreds of people benefited from the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Chief Minister Arunachal Arogya Yojana and proactive tuberculosis screening during the free registration and health camp organized as part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra here on Friday. Minister for Home, RD & PR, Bamang Felix, attended the event held at the ground of the Government Higher Secondary School, Sangram amidst the huge gathering.
Addressing the gathering, Felix highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary initiative, 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra', is not only an awareness campaign but is also to ensure that every policy and program of the BJP-led government reaches every section of society and people. He also urged the public to approach their nearby offices regarding various government schemes and projects to avail the benefits. "There should not be any information gap; there are hundreds of schemes and projects in different departments, all such benefits should reach the ground level," added Felix.
He also appealed to the officials of the departments concerned to ensure that every single person receives all benefits as per the norms. He further informed that, during the awareness program, villagers from various circles of 19-Nyapin Assembly Constituency have also benefited from schemes like Ayushman Bharat , CMAAY, PM Ujjawala Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Krishi Rinn Yojana, and other state sponsored schemes.
Earlier, the Minister also distributed certificates, LPG connection cards under PM Ujjawala Yojana, and other beneficiaries of Agri & Horticulture.
