KOLORIANG, July 9: In a commendable effort led by Deputy Commissioner Kurung Kumey, Vishakha Yadav  along with local authorities successfully restored essential services to several cut-off towns, including Sarli and Parsi Parlo. Circle Officer Shankar Bagang and local Panchayat Raj Institution (PRI) members played a pivotal role in ensuring the supply of essential items to affected villages.
The administration's efforts were particularly noteworthy in Damin Paniasang, where residents of Taba village, the last motorable point, received essential items late last night. Despite challenging conditions with approximately 17 block points hindering road access, efforts led by DC Kurung Kumey facilitated the distribution of rations and essential commodities through a dedicated committee.
"The restoration of surface communication and clearance of blockages near the Indo-China border has been a week-long endeavor," stated Deputy Commissioner Vishakha Yadav. The administration continues to work tirelessly to improve road conditions and ensure the ongoing supply of essential items to all affected areas.
Local authorities and community members have expressed gratitude for the swift response and effective coordination in these challenging times, stated a release.
