PASIGHAT, Dec 17: East Siang District Administration organized the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) Campaign on Saturday at Berung village, few kilometers off of headquarters Pasighat aiming to raise awareness about central flagship schemes to the public through ICR Van.
Attending the programme, local MLA Kaling Moyong appealed villagers to avail all central and state sponsored schemes for better livelihood adding that schemes were not only benefiting individuals but improving lifestyle and economical growth of the nation.
Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu threw light also on the importance of central and state public-centric programmes and encouraged the local public to come forward and avail optimum benefits.
Later, the duo gave away certificates to 17 central schemes beneficiaries of Berung village. Earlier, many beneficiaries delivered their experiences and testimony to the public.
