ITANAGAR, Dec 18; In Pool B and the first match of the day played in the ongoing 8th Eagle Trophy Football Championship 2023, Minu FC defeated United Tawang FC by 5-1.  Omak Tawe scored the first hatrick of the championship by scoring in the 9th,  60th and 71st minute of the match. While the other two goals for Minu FC were scored by Anand TAwe(35’) and Sonam Beyong (71’).  A lone consolation goal for Utd Tawang FC was scored by Tsering Wangey  in the 8th minute.
In the second match of the day, Capital Complex FC registered a comfortable 6-1 victory against Keyi Panyor FC. It was Keyi Panyor FC who opened the scoring in the match when Namin Tagru found the back of the net in the 31st minute and maintained it till the end of first half. Rejuvenated CCFC came back stronger in the second half and scored six goals. OlikTayeng  (53’, 56’) and Hage Serbo (61’,77’) scored their brace. Rawang Hakum (49’), HAge Serbo(61’) and  Kipa Aapsu (73’) contributed a goal each.
