Namsai, Aug 11: A Tiranga Yatra marking the launch of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in Namsai district was flagged off today by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein along with MLA  Chau Zingnu Namchoom among others.
During the program, the Mein administered the Tiranga pledge and handed over the Tiranga to the ZPC, ZPMs, school principals, headmasters, administration, and PRI leaders. The event also featured a patriotic song performed by GHSS Namsai. The program concluded with a call from the Dy CM to plant trees in honour of mothers and mother earth, urging participation in the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign.
